If had a number of solar panels from different manufacturers. They all overstate the power output by 25-30%. AT mid-day, on June 15th, with this panel at 90 degrees to the sun, the measured output was 110W.
Now maybe if I was in the Sahara, Death Valley, the Mojave desert or similar I might get 160w, but here in the South of England – nowhere near.
But as I say, all the manufacturers inflate their figures – or at least don’t take into account where they are selling the panels, and these are no worse than the other people
They are well made, they are delivered with good protective packaging, but if you are doing calculations about how many you need, take into account that you aren’t on the equator!!!
